Job Description
We are seeking an SAP Basis / Cloud Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of SAP environments hosted in cloud platforms. This role will focus on maintaining system stability, executing operational runbooks, and supporting lifecycle activities across SAP landscapes while partnering with Basis and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute runbooks and support daily operations of SAP systems in cloud environments
• Perform daily health checks including system availability, batch job status, interface connectivity, and basic performance monitoring
• Support SAP lifecycle activities such as client copies, system refreshes, transport readiness, start/stop procedures, and housekeeping
• Assist with cloud infrastructure tasks including VM monitoring, storage capacity checks, and network connectivity validation
• Support patching cycles and maintenance windows, including coordination and post-change validation
• Collect logs and monitoring data (SAP logs, OS metrics, cloud signals) and escalate incidents with clear documentation
• Maintain runbooks, environment documentation, and system inventories
• Partner with Basis and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience supporting SAP environments (Basis or operations exposure)
• Basic understanding of SAP system architecture and lifecycle activities
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to follow operational processes and escalate issues effectively
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to SAP Basis administration tasks
• Experience with cloud infrastructure monitoring or support
• Familiarity with patching, maintenance windows, and system refresh activities
• Experience maintaining documentation and runbooks
