Job Description
The largest educator of healthcare professionals in Memphis, TN is hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant. This Accountant will support the Associate Vice Chancellor in the Financial Operations space. Core responsibilities will include financial reporting, analysis, and planning activities across large, complex financial systems. This role will work extensively with Oracle ERP and financial planning tools, delivering accurate reporting, insights, and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
-Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
-Utilize Oracle ERP to extract, validate, and analyze financial data
-Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
-Collaborate with accounting, finance, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and system integrity
-Analyze trends, variances, and performance metrics within large, complex financial environments
-Improve reporting processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and accuracy
-Focus on forecasting and business decisions

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years in a Financial Accounting Role or Financial Accountant
Ensures GAAP compliance
Tax and regulatory reporting
Supports budgeting and forecasting
Background in a large ERP environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Power BI
