The Data Engineer must be able to work with individual contributors, work supervisors, and manager level leaders to gain credibility and trust of both leadership and peers. The successful candidate must be able to work closely with team members, peers within the organization, external partners as well as the IT organization to deliver high quality support and solutions. A strong sense of ownership and accountability are required to ensure the quality of support and solutioning that is necessary in this critical business role.

Required Skills & Experience
BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent • data architecture, development, system administration and end use • 2+ years of experience in analyzing data and presenting the results • Develop and maintain (issue resolution and enhancement) BI reports • 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes • 1+ years of experience with SSIS • 2+ years of experience in data quality improvement • Understand user requirements • Ability to work independently and to take accountability • Ability to be creative • Ability to communicate in a brief and to the point manner • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SQL
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Desired • 3-5 years of experience within any area of the utility industry • 3-5 years of experience with scripting languages such as R, python, PowerShell Responsibilities • Understand the data in different systems, such as OSI PI and data warehouses • Develop and maintain (issue resolution and enhancement) ETL processes from various systems into MS SQL Server • Come up with innovative ideas to solve business problems using data • Document all work
