Job Description
We are seeking a SAP Data & Automation Architect to lead data architecture and automation design across SAP environments. This role will serve as a senior technical lead, driving solution design, operational stability, and continuous improvement across data flows, integrations, and automation initiatives within SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead data and automation architecture across SAP sustainment, support, and enhancement initiatives
• Define and maintain end-to-end architecture for data flows, integrations, automation solutions, and dependent systems
• Oversee root cause analysis and solution design for complex production issues (data quality, integrations, automation failures, batch processing)
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Provide architecture guidance across SAP modules, middleware, reporting, and integrated platforms
• Review technical designs, data models, and integration patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance
• Partner with business stakeholders and support teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and priorities
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, regression risk assessment, and post-release stabilization
• Establish standards for data quality, monitoring, logging, exception handling, and operational readiness
• Mentor team members and act as escalation point for complex technical issues

Required Skills & Experience
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience in SAP data architecture, integrations, or automation solutions
• Experience supporting SAP production environments and complex issue resolution
• Understanding of end-to-end SAP landscapes including data flows and system dependencies
• Strong analytical, design, and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience working across cross-functional technical teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments and transformation programs
• Exposure to SAP integration platforms (BTP, middleware) and automation tools
• Experience with data governance, monitoring, and operational standards
• Prior experience in a technical leadership or architecture role
