Job Description

The Manager, Digital Reputation & Brand Protection will be required to work on-site 5 days a week in the Toronto office and perform the following duties:
Monitor social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, TikTok, Threads) for brand reputation issues, draft responses to guest complaints, manage escalations, and identify emerging risks.
Partner closely with PR, Legal, Guest Services, Operations, and executive stakeholders to manage sensitive issues, protect the brand, and support crisis communications.
Oversee local owner social accounts, providing training, content approvals, compliance reviews, and ongoing support while tracking trends and reporting insights to leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in PR, Communications, Crisis Management, Corporate Reputation, Social Media, or Brand Protection.
Experience handling high-profile, sensitive, or reputational issues for a recognizable brand, agency, or organization with significant public exposure.
Strong written communication, critical thinking, and judgment in responding to complex public conversations and escalations.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Operations, Communications, and Leadership teams.
Highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, issue-management environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PR agency experience or corporate communications experience supporting a brand with significant reputation management needs.
Background in consumer-facing industries such as QSR, Retail, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Travel, Telecom, Financial Services, or CPG.
Familiarity with reporting tools, Excel-based tracking, social analytics, and identifying root-cause trends from customer feedback.
