Job Description
Our client is seeking a Warehouse Process Implementation Lead to support a large-scale ERP and warehouse management transformation initiative. This individual will serve as the warehouse operations subject matter expert responsible for helping design, configure, test, and implement warehouse processes within a new ERP environment.
The ideal candidate has a strong warehousing background and understands the end-to-end material flow process, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, transfers, and shipping. This person will work closely with operations, supply chain, and ERP teams to ensure warehouse workflows are accurately translated into system functionality and that the implementation supports real-world operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead warehouse process design efforts as part of a company-wide ERP implementation.
• Configure and validate warehouse-related functionality within the ERP system.
• Develop and execute testing scenarios to ensure material movements and warehouse transactions function correctly.
• Validate receiving, put-away, inventory, transfer, picking, packing, and shipping workflows.
• Utilize handheld devices and warehouse technology to test and confirm transaction accuracy.
• Assist with form design, warehouse documentation, labels, shipping documentation, and process workflows.
• Spend time on the production floor and in warehouse operations to understand current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with material planners, procurement teams, strategic buyers, production control, business analysts, project managers, and ERP leadership.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), process validation, training, and go-live readiness activities.
• Identify system enhancements and process improvements that increase warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of warehouse operations, warehouse systems, supply chain, or distribution experience.
• Deep understanding of:
o Receiving
o Put Away
o Inventory Control
o Material Transfers
o Picking & Fulfillment
o Shipping Processes
• Experience supporting warehouse process improvements, system implementations, or operational transformation projects.
• Ability to translate warehouse workflows into system requirements and configuration decisions.
• Comfortable conducting testing, troubleshooting, validation, and documentation activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite daily in Duluth and travel periodically to other facilities.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic ERP.
• Experience implementing or supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of barcode scanning solutions and warehouse labeling systems.
• Experience with RF handheld devices and wireless warehouse technologies.
• Prior experience supporting ERP implementations within manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• Exposure to inventory optimization, warehouse process mapping, or material flow design.
