Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior UX Copywriter with a Conversational/Chatbot specialization to craft clear, consistent, user-centered language for Verizon Value products and AI-driven conversational experiences (chat and, where applicable, voice). You’ll partner closely with UX Design, Research, Product, and Engineering to simplify complex concepts into natural, effective interactions that align to brand voice, accessibility, and business goals

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10+ years of UX Writing / Content Design experience focused on complex software products or digital experiences.
• Proven experience collaborating in tools such as Slack, Figma, Lucidchart, Jira, and virtual whiteboarding tools (e.g., FigJam, Lucid, Mural).
• Demonstrated use of empathy mapping, content/feature mapping, journey mapping, and discovery/sprint planning exercises in partnership with UX Design and Research.
• 3+ years of experience with Figma and UX Content (components, variables, content specs, design systems alignment).
• Portfolio showing relevant UX content work including conversational experiences (chat flows, conversation maps, prompt patterns, error recovery, onboarding flows, escalation to agent, etc.).
• Ability to simplify complex nuance into clear, human language across multi-step tasks and edge cases.
• Comfort working in highly cross-functional agile teams; strong stakeholder communication and editorial judgment.
Conversational specialization
• Creates end-to-end conversation flows (happy path, fallbacks, escalation/handoff, error recovery).
• Understands conversational mechanics (intents, disambiguation, confirmations, repair).
• Uses outcomes/data + feedback to iterate and improve conversations; comfortable with ongoing dialog refinement/tuning practices.
