Job Description

The Boise Site Project Coordinator is the on-site operational leader responsible for coordinating the end-to-end execution of semiconductor tool assembly and installation projects within a live fab environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between Insight Global’s installation team, our client stakeholders, and the end customer to ensure tool builds are executed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with site requirements. The Site Project Coordinator owns daily site execution, schedule alignment, reporting, and issue escalation, enabling successful delivery of multiple concurrent tool installations within a fixed-fee managed service model.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily installation activities for tool assembly across multiple workstreams (mechanical, electrical, facilities)
• Act as the on-site point of contact for TEL, Micron, and IG leadership for all schedule, access, and execution updates
• Track installation milestones, progress against schedule (~10-day tool build cycles), and identify risks to delivery timelines
• Manage site logistics including:
o Technician scheduling and shift coordination
o Tool availability and sequencing
o Cleanroom access, badging, and work authorization alignment
• Facilitate daily standups and provide clear, structured updates on progress, blockers, and next steps
• Ensure adherence to site safety, cleanroom protocols, and PPE requirements
• Support issue resolution by coordinating between FSEs, site facilities, and engineering teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, including:
o Daily/weekly status reports
o Installation tracking logs
o Incident or delay documentation
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and installation efficiency gains across tool builds
• Support onboarding, training coordination, and performance feedback for new team members

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, site operations, or project management within:
• Semiconductor manufacturing, OR
• Industrial / construction / high-volume technical environments
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (field technicians, engineers, facilities, safety) in a live operational environment
- Experience managing schedules, dependencies, and site-based workflows with multiple stakeholders impacting delivery timelines
- Strong experience with status reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
- Ability to operate as a customer-facing liaison with clear, professional communication across all levels
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple parallel priorities
- Comfortable working on-site in a cleanroom environment and adhering to strict safety protocols

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior experience supporting semiconductor equipment installation, commissioning, or fab operations
- Experience working in cleanroom environments with familiarity around PPE, safety procedures, and site compliance requirements
- Exposure to tool install workflows, facilities coordination, or equipment startup/commissioning processes
- Military background (especially in mechanical, technical, or operations roles)
- Experience troubleshooting or coordinating resolution for electromechanical or robotic systems
- Familiarity with project tracking tools, Excel reporting, or dashboarding
- Experience working in a client-facing, fast-paced delivery model (services, EPC, or managed services)
