Security Data Reporting Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Data Reporting Analyst to collect, analyze, and organize data from application security tools, including Snyk, to support cybersecurity reporting and decision-making.
They will clean, structure, and maintain large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across security teams.
Develop and maintain automated reporting processes using Excel and Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Create standardized reporting templates, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms for application security metrics.
Generate and distribute regular security reports to stakeholders, providing visibility into vulnerabilities, risk trends, and remediation progress.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, application development, and business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting automation, and overall reporting processes.

- Experience working in Cybersecurity
- Power BI experience for reporting
- Strong ability to analyze, organize, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, insights, and reporting requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills with extensive experience automating reports, dashboards, and data-driven processes.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting enhancements.

- Experience with AppSec or similar domain (Vulnerability Management, Exposure Management, etc.)
- Bonus if they can support on operational activities such as AppSec platform/tool management (hands on experience with Snyk a bonus)
