Job Description
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Product Management and is tasked with full-scope leadership and ownership of the Mil Aero Interconnects product line. The successful candidate will act as the primary owner for the end-to-end product strategy, encompassing all phases of technology development, comprehensive multi-year roadmapping, and full-scale market commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively identify and capitalize on market growth drivers, emerging industry trends, and unmet customer needs to unlock high-value business opportunities.
• Perform deep-dive analysis of market data, actively represent the organization at premier industry events and trade shows, and maintain high-level engagement with key standards committees to ensure product alignment.
• Architect innovative, high-performance product solutions specifically engineered for the rigorous demands and technical requirements of the Mil Aero market.
• Define, refine, and execute a cohesive product strategy that aligns directly with Business Unit objectives, including the formal creation of technology roadmaps, robust business cases, and strategic go-to-market execution plans.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial conceptualization and identification of lead customers to high-stakes partner negotiations and the development of winning pricing strategies.
• Execute rigorous market intelligence efforts, including accurate market sizing, detailed competitive benchmarking, and the creation of comprehensive Market Requirement Documents (MRD) and Product Requirement Documents (PRD).
• Synthesize technical features into compelling value propositions and partner closely with the sales organization to secure key account business.
• Cultivate and sustain deep, strategic relationships with a diverse network of customers, industry partners, and suppliers.
• Direct the development of high-quality technical and commercial marketing collateral while serving as the primary subject matter expert to provide product support and training to internal staff, distribution partners, and end-users.
• Ensure data integrity and process optimization by maintaining roadmap visibility and performance metrics within the Aha platform.
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven success within B2B business models, particularly where customers integrate components into complex, high-reliability end-products.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage large-scale, high-complexity product portfolios; the candidate must be proficient in navigating high-SKU environments while simultaneously driving a shift toward prioritized, focused strategic initiatives.
• A clear track record of innovation and proactive problem solving; candidates must be comfortable engaging directly with customers to identify underlying pain points and translating those insights into unique, proactive technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, with specialization in Mil Aero Interconnects products.
10-15 YOE in industry (5 minimum in Product Line Management)
US Citizen
Strong RF technical background (RF engineering)
Ideal candidates started out as engineers (maybe design engineers but now into closing deals) - engineers turned PM's
Need to be personable, and strong with communicating with stakeholders
Candidate must be able to understand connectors, the engineering environment, and learn their side of the busines
