An employer is looking for a motivated and accomplished Design Project Coordinator to join their infrastructure team in Fremont, CA. The role requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an unparalleled ability to pull people together to make things happen. This programs schedules push the limits of what is physically possible. This requires you to be extremely detail oriented, identify real hard barriers and drive the cross-functional teams to execute quickly at high quality. You will drive collaboration between Engineering disciplines, Construction, Manufacturing and Production to ensure our team's goals are aligned with company priorities. You will work to understand the opportunities and challenges of each project, organize scattered information into a concise and complete message, document and communicate to every team member. What You’ll Do
- Project Start-Up/Initiation including contracts, RFPs, work authorizations, creation and maintenance of project directories, and opening project/sub-project numbers
- Maintenance of logs covering project IDs, scope, schedule, and responsible parties, along with meeting coordination and preparation of agendas/notes
- Design Documentation and Construction Administration tasks including contract/invoice management, design review documentation, RFI/Submittal logs, and weekly EPC team reports
- Site visits to review and document existing conditions or construction progress
- Coordination with AHJs including permit submissions, project reviews, fee processing, and tracking permit budgets and folders
- Project Close-Out tasks including as-built documentation archiving covering plans, equipment schedules, and single line consolidation
- Establish intake workflows, lead weekly project/ticket meetings, gather data from Design Managers/CMs to populate Gantt charts, and develop KPIs with feedback loops into project delivery
Pay Range for this role is $30 - $45 per hour depending on years of experience and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supportive capacity, preferably within an engineering, architecture, or construction firm
- Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or equivalent experience
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam or equivalent
- Proficiency in Revit, SQL, Java, Python, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau to contextualize team data for executive presentations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance as a proactive, self-motivated self-starter
