Job Description

One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard a Network Architect to their team. This person will function as a strategic Network Architect responsible for evaluating Southland's current network footprint, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending technologies that align with the company's long-term roadmap. They will own vendor, product, and solution selection efforts, performing technical evaluations, proof of concepts, and cost-benefit analyses to determine the best technologies for the organization. The role will also support ongoing modernization initiatives including multi-cloud connectivity, wireless architecture, segmentation, security enhancements, and acquisition integration planning. On a daily basis, they'll partner with network operations, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams to build deployment roadmaps, oversee implementations, and ensure new technologies are successfully adopted. They'll remain involved throughout the entire lifecycle—from evaluation and architecture through deployment and operational handoff—while continuously reviewing emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps to keep the environment aligned with future business needs. This is a remote role but travel will be required as needed to support offices, projects, and strategic initiatives.
