Job Description
• Lead daily execution of equipment installation across multiple plants, supporting over $800M in new equipment installs
• Participate in daily priority meetings to align on critical installs and execution strategy
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective installation
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation and equipment issues in real time
• Drive equipment through commissioning and validation, including:
o Partnering with plant safety teams for G-compliance and red/yellow tag approvals
o Working with controls engineers on SCS (Safety Controls) and MPS validation
o Ensuring all pre-power-on and operator readiness requirements are completed
• Support transition into MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) by qualifying equipment for production use
• Leverage data to evaluate process capability and confirm readiness for PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
• Once in production:
o Troubleshoot quality and performance issues
o Optimize machining processes for crankshaft production
o Drive closure of open issues and continuously improve equipment performance

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with one the following below:
o Crankshaft manufacturing and machining processes
o Gear manufacturing and gear machining processes
o CNC lathes (set-up, operation, and/or programming)
o Crank machining / crankshaft production lines
o Gear machining, grinding, or roll forming
o CAM machining and/or heat treating
o Roller hardening, polishing, and finishing processes
o Balancing and grinding of rotating components
