Job Description
A large healthcare system is seeking a Senior Epic Willow Ambulatory Consultant. This is a highly visible consulting role requiring an experienced analyst who can immediately contribute to multiple active initiatives, support complex pharmacy operations, and provide expertise across Epic Willow Ambulatory projects.
The ideal candidate is a senior-level certified Willow Ambulatory professional who has led implementations, supported go-lives, and can independently partner with operational and technical stakeholders. This individual will play a key role in several upcoming initiatives, including a Willow Ambulatory Point of Sale (WAM POS) go-live, an enterprise pharmacy rollout, a Specialty Pharmacy Compass Rose implementation, and future WAM expansion projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a senior Willow Ambulatory consultant supporting multiple concurrent pharmacy initiatives.
• Lead and support a WAM Point of Sale (POS) Go-Live scheduled for August.
• Support a large-scale pharmacy rollout and go-live activities through September and beyond.
• Participate in the kickoff and implementation of a Specialty Pharmacy Compass Rose deployment.
• Partner with pharmacy operations, application teams, and leadership to define workflows, optimize system functionality, and ensure project success.
• Support system build, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and go-live readiness activities.
• Provide expertise around Willow Ambulatory workflows, medication management, pharmacy operations, and system integrations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to other analysts on the team.

Required Skills & Experience
• Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification (WAM) required.
• 5+ years of Epic Willow Ambulatory build, implementation, and support experience.
• Proven experience supporting Willow Ambulatory go-lives and large-scale deployment projects.
• Experience working in a consulting or highly matrixed healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows, medication management, and operational best practices.
• Experience leading testing, validation, cutover, and go-live support activities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
