Job Description
A client in the Alpharetta area is looking for an Azure DevOps Intern/Jr Engineer to work in their Development Operations team. This role will assist the team leader in moving data, calling out areas where the team needs to take next steps,
DAY TO DAY:
Review pipeline deployments – specifically applications pulling from a repo
Move retail and corporate data around
Deploy Azure resources
Call out and hold the DevOps team accountable for their work.
This role with help support the manager in enforcing the rules – this person is the eyes for the manager and does some reporting and light development work.
Manage the process and hold development accountable including the scanning engines. Hold the developers accountable to resolving issues that become expose during the flow.
This role works with Azure and Azure DevOps. They also use .net in this environment and the right candidate needs to understand building in .net.
Compensation:
$24/hr to $27/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Azure cloud experience
Experience working in a corporate environment with data
Ability to work independently and not needing their hand held. Ability to hold themselves accountable.
Ability to work hard without being micromanaged. Can’t get distracted easily while working from home.
Basic knowledge of a Cloud environment and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Know terminology like Software version control and Cloud Computing
Strong work ethic – this is a remote role and this person would need to execute their work without being checked on all the time.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in retail
Experience working in restaurant industry
At least 1-2 years working experience in a data environment.
Experience in a Business software development organization
Experience working with business data for marketing departments
.net development experience
Java experience because peer teams use Java.
