Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Legal Counsel to join a top global consulting company. This company delivers solutions through innovative management consulting, technology, and corporate & digital ventures. The counsel will be a member of the global legal team, specifically their employment group. The counsel will be the lead advisor and first point of contact for the firm’s offices across Spain, Portugal, and South America.

Responsibilities:
 Provide end-to-end employment law support across the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, termination, mobility and immigration, disputes, investigations, regulatory matters, global and local forms and approaches, and advisory support on individual employee issues.
 Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leadership, helping them navigate complex and sensitive people matters and balance legal risk with business priorities.
 Coordinate closely with the People teams in ISA to ensure a consistent approach to policies and decision-making.
 Team successfully across the organization’s and integrate fully into the global legal team to resolve or support resolution of complex HR and employment legal issues (both internally and matters where it could interface with external parties).
 Partner with other members of the organization employment practice on global projects.
 Contribute to developing and maintaining Legal Team intellectual property, including template forms, and other materials.
 Work with and manage external counsel.

This is a full-time position that is local to Madrid or Lisbon – in the office 50% of the time.

Compensation
€97k-€113k
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, level of experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.

Required Skills & Experience

 10+ years PQE of practicing labor and employment law most recently/currently in-house within a complex international organization, professional services, or similar industry
 Spanish qualified employment lawyer, with deep strategic and operational employment law expertise in an international organization and experience advising across different jurisdictions
 Experienced at managing outside legal advisers and other providers of expert advice on employee matters
 Ability to use AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining high-quality, risk-based advice
 English and Spanish fluency

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

 Fluency in any other language
 Firm experience early in career
 Litigation experience
