Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Invoicing Specialist to support a highly collaborative R&D team within a leading food & beverage organization. This individual will be responsible for managing invoicing, purchase orders, and vendor coordination while maintaining accurate tracking through Excel and internal systems such as SAP (training provided). The role involves heavy interaction with internal stakeholders and vendors, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and a team-first mentality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement and operations, with a clear path to full-time conversion and long-term growth within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Day-to-Day:
• Enter and manage purchase orders, invoices, and related data (using SAP – no prior experience required)
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets with multiple inputs and links
• Request purchase orders from internal teams and track status
• Review and compare vendor quotes and pricing details
• Communicate regularly with department managers to gather and update information
• Email vendors to track status of invoices, POs, and documentation
• Assist with bid processes, vendor coordination, and site visit logistics
• Register vendors in site security systems and support walkthroughs
• Compile and organize bid comparison (leveling) spreadsheets
• Collaborate closely with R&D team members and cross-functional partners
• Proactively review spreadsheets and suggest improvements
Support onboarding/knowledge transfer from retiring employee
