Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an SAP Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimize SAP environments across hybrid cloud platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring performance, reliability, and security of SAP infrastructure supporting S/4HANA and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP infrastructure across compute, storage, OS, network, and virtualization layers in hybrid environments
- Provision and maintain SAP-ready infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP with a focus on performance and resilience
- Enable and support S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and HANA environments, including sizing, patching, and operational support
- Design and support HA/DR architectures, including backup systems, failover readiness, and recovery testing
- Monitor system health and implement automation for infrastructure operations using standardized deployment patterns
- Collaborate with SAP Basis, DBA, security, and middleware teams to resolve platform issues and optimize performance
- Support cybersecurity controls, identity integrations, and infrastructure hardening across SAP environments
- Contribute to SAP BTP, integrations, and cloud-connected architectures where infrastructure dependencies exist
- Maintain operational documentation, SLA alignment, and platform governance metrics

Required Skills & Experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA Linux+
- Experience supporting SAP infrastructure environments (on-prem and/or cloud)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and Fiori infrastructure requirements
- Understanding of HA/DR concepts, backup/recovery, and system monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to operate in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
