Job Description
Insight Global's client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help lead the organization through an exciting period of expansion. This executive will serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving financial strategy, treasury management, forecasting, capital planning, and operational performance across the business.
The ideal candidate is a finance-first leader with experience supporting high-growth organizations, building scalable financial infrastructure, and providing strategic guidance to executive leadership. This individual will play a critical role in helping the business scale toward its next phase of growth while maintaining strong financial discipline and operational excellence. The CFO will also support multiple affiliated entities under common ownership and build upon an existing finance team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term financial strategies that support continued organizational growth.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, treasury operations, and capital allocation initiatives.
- Develop rolling financial projections and scenario planning models to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze business performance, profitability trends, and key financial metrics to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.
- Oversee liquidity planning, banking relationships, working capital management, and investment strategies.
- Build scalable financial processes, reporting structures, and internal controls to support a rapidly growing organization.
- Lead and mentor an established finance team, including analysts and accounting personnel.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and ownership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and business development teams to support growth initiatives and profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and financial reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- 3-7+ years in a CFO, Divisional CFO, VP Finance, SVP Finance, or equivalent executive finance role.
- Strong background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury management, forecasting, and strategic finance.
- Experience supporting organizations undergoing rapid growth or transformation.
- Proven ability to build scalable financial processes and reporting structures.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive business outcomes.
- Experience with cash flow forecasting, capital planning, liquidity management, and profitability analysis.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience within government services, defense contracting, infrastructure services, construction, industrial services, energy, oil & gas, or project-based organizations.
- Experience supporting companies with revenues exceeding $500M.
- MBA, Master's in Finance, or other advanced business degree.
- Prior experience helping scale an organization toward $1B+ in revenue.
- Experience overseeing multiple legal entities or affiliated businesses.
- Exposure to high-growth environments involving mergers, acquisitions, or significant expansion initiatives.
- Strong treasury and capital allocation expertise.
- Experience partnering directly with founders, owners, or private-company executive teams.
- Government contracting experience with familiarity supporting FAR and DCAA compliance requirements.
