Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Communications Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mission-critical operational and telecommunications networks across the electric grid. This role will support network infrastructure connecting substations, SCADA systems, AMI, and other utility operational technology (OT) environments. The ideal candidate has a networking foundation who is eager to develop expertise in Ethernet networks, routing and switching, fiber optics, wireless communications, and utility telecommunications systems

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in communications, networking, telecommunications, utilities, military communications, or industrial automation.
Hands-on technical experience troubleshooting equipment, networking devices, or communication systems.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous internship, co-op, military, telecommunications, or utility experience.
Knowledge of SCADA, AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), or Smart Grid technologies.
