Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Developer for a top commercial real estate client. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting reports, data feeds, and custom solutions tied closely to accounting and financial systems. The Developer will work with financial data such as general ledgers and trial balances, provide advanced troubleshooting support, and collaborate with Business Analysts to bridge business requirements and technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data-driven financial systems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day
• Design, build, and maintain reports and data feeds supporting accounting systems
• Develop and support custom reporting solutions integrated with Yardi
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and system performance issues
• Collaborate with Business Analysts on solution design and gap analysis
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices
• Use Excel to analyze, manipulate, and visualize financial data

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience developing solutions using Yardi Systems or working directly with Yardi databases
• 2+ years of hands-on software or database development experience
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Experience working with accounting or financial data (general ledger, trial balances, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot data anomalies, system errors, and performance issues
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Strong English communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with data integration tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Experience collaborating closely with Business Analysts
• Strong comfort with accounting terminology and financial systems
