Job Description
The Low Voltage Cable Technician will assist with the installation, routing, and support of low-voltage cabling systems at customer sites throughout the United States. This role requires extensive travel over the first two months of the project and the ability to work long hours in fast-paced environments.
The ideal candidate has prior experience pulling cable, working on lifts, performing installation work, and is comfortable working at heights. While an IT background is helpful, the primary focus is on hands-on cabling and installation experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cabling in commercial and warehouse environments.
• Install cabling systems throughout warehouses, service facilities, and other customer locations.
• Work from ladders and scissor lifts to complete installations safely and efficiently.
• Assist with structured cabling projects and network infrastructure deployments.
• Follow installation plans, safety procedures, and project schedules.
• Troubleshoot basic cabling issues and ensure quality workmanship.
• Travel to customer sites for project deployments.
• Collaborate with project leads and fellow technicians to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain organized work areas and proper documentation of completed work.
Support additional IT infrastructure projects as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
1. Previous low-voltage cabling experience (cable pulling, routing, installation, or structured cabling).
2. Ability to work on ladders and scissor lifts and comfortable working at heights.
3. Willingness to travel extensively for approximately two months at project launch.
4. Ability to work extended hours, including 12-hour shifts and up to 6-7 days per week during project deployments.
5. Hands-on installation or electrical experience in commercial, industrial, construction, telecommunications, or related environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Basic IT, networking, or telecommunications knowledge.
• Experience with structured cabling systems.
• Electrical helper, apprentice electrician, low-voltage technician, or telecommunications technician experience.
• OSHA certification or other safety training.
• Experience working in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or commercial buildings.
