This isn’t about having sales experience. It’s about potential. We’re looking for students who are hungry to learn, eager to compete, unafraid to take on challenges, and excited about the future. If you’re bold enough to step outside your comfort zone and ambitious enough to bet on yourself, you’ll fit right in.
How the competition works
Three rounds. Real client scenarios.
Every round is a live role-play scored by Insight Global sales leaders. All 150 compete in the first two rounds. The top five advance to the final.

The introduction
Step in as an Insight Global account manager for a 10-minute simulated first meeting with a client. Find out what they need, earn the next meeting, and get feedback on how you did.

The consulting conversation
Meet a senior leader at the same client. Dig into the project and show how Insight Global could deliver beyond the hiring need. Earn a meeting with their executive team.

The AI conversation
The five strongest competitors pitch an AI solution live to Insight Global CEO Bert Bean. Winners are chosen and checks are presented on site!
No industry experience? No problem. We’ll share the case study and all supporting resources in advance, giving you everything you need to prepare for the competition.

Do I need sales experience?
Who is eligible to apply?
- At least 18 years old;
- Legal residents of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, or a legal resident of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), and have valid U.S. Social Security Numbers or Canadian Social Insurance Numbers for prize tax reporting purposes;
- Able to obtain any required travel documentation (including, for Canadian citizens, a valid eTA if traveling by air); and
- Are currently enrolled (full-time or part-time) in an accredited college or university, and in good standing with the school throughout the competition.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S./D.C. and Canada (excl. Quebec), 18+ or age of majority, enrolled as undergraduate juniors or seniors at an accredited college or university. Entry period: Oct. 1, 2026, 12:00 AM EST – Nov. 9, 2026, 11:59 PM EST. One entry per person. Prizes (USD): $30,000, $20,000, $10,000. Up to 150 semi-finalists receive travel and accommodation (ARV $1,100 USD; restrictions apply). Winners selected by judged skill; odds depend on the number and quality of entries. No regional allocation. Winners subject to eligibility verification and background check.
