An employer is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to support one of Insight Globals largest enterprise sites in Plano, Texas. This person will be doing standard technical support ranging from troubleshooting Microsoft related issues, general user access issues, network connectivity, hardware swaps, PC setup, and other IT support responsibilities. Candidates must have strong communication, high sense of urgency, and excellent customer service experience. They also must feel confident working in an environment without a lot of training or guidance this isnt always with a team. Must have experience with hands-on experience repairing and/or working with computer hardware and troubleshooting some software. You will be opening and closing the store each day, helping customers with shipment rate quotes, logging data, and much more! You will be servicing anywhere from 2-6 clients per hour on average, with some over-the-phone support as well. Insight Global is looking for a motivated Top-Secret cleared Configuration Manager to join a federal client in San Antonio, Texas. Their main objectives are quality assurance, program requirement analysis, risk management, and contract closeout procedure in support of the program/PMO processes.Responsibilities: *Review and analyze the development/sustainment Contractor’s CM program and data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. *Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records. *Convene and manage the Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and record approved changes and results. *Participate in cross-functional change control boards to evaluate proposed changes. *Review and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected by the changes. *Support pre- and post-contract award data reviews. *Review and analyze the development/sustainment Contractor’s conformance to CDRL requirements. *Process Government and development/sustainment Contractor correspondence. *Support the establishment of workflows. *Track data item deliverables and responses.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
