Insight Global is seeking a Senior Director of Procurement to join a Fortune 500 healthcare/retail client in Deerfield, IL. The Sr Director will be responsible for developing strategy, leading change... management, and directing a team of Directors, Category Managers, and Category Specialists who specialize in one or more indirect spend categories (e.g., Technology and Marketing); establishing objectives for a group of spend categories along with developing the strategy for the short term and long term sourcing plans; overseeing and adjusting the execution of sourcing and procurement strategies; reporting on sourcing strategies and performance within areas of responsibility; driving cross-functional category teams in change management and business continuity; defining procurement requirements and operational needs; participation and obtaining a leadership role in the development of Business Unit process, continuous improvements, and operational efficiencies.
