Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Sr. IT Specialist in support of one of are large federal clients in Wallops Island, VA. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and security of the commands Windows-based systems as well as making sure the IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficient. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Perform regular backups, updates, and system recoveries.
- Ensure systems comply with security standards, such as DoD STIGs.
- Diagnose and resolve system and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and optimize as needed.
- Provide technical support to staff and users.
- Document procedures, configurations, and system status.
- Work with IT managers to discuss system upgrades and improvements.

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years of experience within IT with a concentration in MS Windows 10, MS Server 2019 or newer
* Active DoD Security Clearance
DoD IAT Level II certification
