Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Deputy CISO supporting the state of Virginia on-site 3-5 days a week. The state of Virginia is looking for a security guru and NIST expert who will be managing existing security environments and architecting/designing new security environments/standards within the financial sector in the Commonwealth. The pay range for this position is from $80.00/hour $135.00/hour depending on previous experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- at least 10 years in the security engineering space
- Security certifications like CISSP or CISM
- hands on experience applying NIST to environments, and specifically working within NIST 800.53
- experience assessing risk during vendor/contract negotiations in a managed services capacity
- ability to work on-site 3-5 days a week (must work at least 3, but could be more depending on work load for the week)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- previous state government experience
- experience working in the banking, auditing, IT managed services industries
