Job Description

Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment, Troubleshoots equipment problems, and Maintains records and reports as required. This FSE will coordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions and order and installs parts. They will responds to emergency service calls as required, and instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. They will perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed, and remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials.

Required Skills & Experience

- Open to 100% travel (will be reimbursed and provided per diem), although will be in hub locations for at least 6 months

- 2+ years previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment

- Excellent customer interface skills and ability to work strongly on a team

- Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- TPS experience highly desirable

- Military background is a plus

- Associates Degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study; or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology
