Insight Global is seeking a Sr Data Modeler to join a Fortune 10 retail client supporting their data governance and standardization processes. This resource will be in the office 3x/week in either Irving or Richardson, TX, or Wellesley, MA or Woonsocket, RI and will build solutions to cater to different use cases during a large data exploration process. The right consultant will have expert level Python and SQL programming skills, the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand requirements and present the different stages of the solution. This person must have the ability to bring people together and engage others in collaborations so leadership experience in this capacity is required.
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data models and pipelines.
Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Team Leads, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions via data modeling.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across various data sources and platforms.
Optimize and manage databases, including Snowflake
Develop and implement best practices for data management, data governance, and data quality.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Compensation:
$60-70/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

- 7-10 years of total experience as a Data Engineer and Data Modeler
- 2-5 years hands on Data Modeling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with engaging leadership abilities
- Proven experience working directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, model and present solutions
- Understand the infrastructure of Snowflake.
- Experience with Erwin and/or E/R Studio
- Experience with Snowflake and Star modeling methods to create schema
- Expert-level programming experience with Python & SQL
