Insight Global is looking to hire a Release Manager for a utilities company to manage our software delivery processes and drive the adoption of Scaled Agile practices. The role is hybrid, 3 days in office, located in Markham Ontario and will begin as a 6m contract with high possibility of extensions.
As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will coordinate technology initiatives, initially focusing on traditional application release management while supporting/leading the transition to a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This role blends strategic planning, hands-on execution, and Agile coaching to drive efficiency, alignment, and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Release Management: Plan and oversee application releases, resolve dependencies, and facilitate readiness reviews.
Agile Release Train (ART): Lead Program Increment (PI) planning and SAFe ceremonies, foster collaboration, and remove impediments.
Transformation: Drive the transition to SAFe, optimize processes, and coach teams on Agile practices.
