Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer primarily to work on Engineered-to-Order (ETO) design projects to meet customer requirements in a team environment. These designs will typically be large Power Distribution Cabinets, UPS, and Power Switching Cabinets for use in data centers. Will be required to meet project goals such as schedule, manufacturability, and cost. This position will consist of creating designs, drawings, bills of material, and processing Engineering Change Orders.



Salary: $95,000 USD

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

* Entry Level experience with design work and customizing existing product based on customer requests (internship or right out of college is ideal)

* Experience with 3D Auto CAD -- Solidedge or CREO preferred

* Experience with Bill of Material (BOM) management

* Experience with Single line design/schematics

* Strong problem solving skills and confidence to ask questions and communicate with team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Knowledgeable on NEC requirements, wire sizing, heat, etc

- Knowledgeable on three phase UPS and power systems and batteries
