For 85/hr, this team is seeking a Web Developer to oversee Macro Trading and FIX Straight-Through Processing (STP) for the firm. Their strategic initiative involves developing advanced React tools for order management, trade matching, and integrating execution capabilities. In this role, the developer will spend 90% of their day focused on coding, creating user-friendly, attractive, and efficient web applications. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining web apps, guiding web design, and optimizing for speed and scalability. The developer will write clean, reusable code and stay updated with new technologies and trends. This role is crucial for bringing top-notch coding skills to financial development projects and supporting strategic initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in React facing role with familiarity of the financial/banking industry
- Strong experience with React (For ex. hooks, context API, and functional components)
- Expertise with TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of CSS (For ex. including pre-processors like types of SASS or LESS, and experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS)
- Familiarity with version control systems and build environments such as Git, Jenkins, and Gitflow, and comfort with VS Code IDE (Where code is stored, for ex. Source control)
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards, and to building trust within the team and with our various internal peers and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Product knowledge specially in Fixed Income products such as bonds, swaps, CDS, FX, and futures
