A large media client is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead complex initiatives within a dynamic media and broadcast environment. This role will partner with executive stakeholders, including CIOs and EVPs, to drive transformative programs focused on newsroom operations and media broadcast delivery. The ideal candidate is a veteran of the media industry, skilled at managing multiple complex workstreams, and adept at navigating organizational politics. This person will lead complex, high-profile programs within the media and broadcast space, working directly with client executives at the CIO and EVP levels to drive strategic initiatives. This person will manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and navigating organizational politics to ensure successful program delivery. A key part of your day will involve developing and presenting executive-level PowerPoint presentations that clearly articulate program status, risks, and business impact. This person will facilitate change management efforts across newsroom and broadcast operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables. Leveraging tools like JIRA, you will track progress, manage risks, and ensure transparency in program finances and total cost of ownership. The ability to translate complex initiatives into clear business value will be essential as you provide strategic guidance and insight to senior stakeholders.

8+ years of program/project management experience in the media or broadcasting industry.
Proven track record working with client executives at the CIO or EVP level.
Deep expertise in change management and navigating complex organizational dynamics.
Strong newsroom experience and understanding of broadcast operations.
Exceptional PowerPoint skills, with experience creating C-level executive presentations.
Proficiency in JIRA and project tracking tools.
Ability to articulate the business impact and strategic value of initiatives.
Veteran of the media industry with a deep network and understanding of media trends.
Experience managing risks, finances, and total cost of ownership (TCO) for large-scale programs.
Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2) or Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum Master).
Familiarity with newsroom technologies and digital media platforms.
Background in managing media technology transformations or newsroom digitization initiatives.
