We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Controls Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial control systems, with a strong focus on PLC troubleshooting, electrical system upgrades, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset to support both engineering and maintenance teams.
-Design, commission, and troubleshoot industrial control systems, including mentoring technicians and junior engineers on PLC systems.
-Conduct electrical studies to evaluate and improve existing equipment controls.
-Create and update documentation for OEM electrical systems and generate ladder logic schematics where none exist.
-Specify and order electrical components (e.g., sensors, VFDs, PLCs) to support engineering and maintenance operations.
-Analyze plant processes and recommend improvements based on electrical and automation expertise.
-Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.
-Collaborate with contractors and internal teams on the design, costing, quoting, and execution of electrical and automation upgrades.
-Support the installation and maintenance of various electrical system projects.
-Provide engineering support for both internally and externally developed projects.
-Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical documentation.

5+ years experience with Electrical Controls Engineering within industrial manufacturing environment
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, RSLogix and High Voltage systems
AutoCAD experience with electrical line drawings/schematics
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent working experience
