Job Description

An aerospace client of Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their team in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have computing infrastructure, troubleshooting and software development experience. The team supports flight training devices within a data center lab. The team is primarily working with Linux systems, but experience with Windows would be useful. The team is installing the software's, then building, testing and fixing them. The team sits 5 days onsite with an active Secret Clearance in St. Louis, Missouri.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years as a Systems Engineer

Proficient with the following : requirements development, performance testing, trade studies, COTS hardware selection, model definition, supplier specification, hardware\software integration, network integration, cyber compliance activities, system\subsystem testing, maintenance documentation, and field installation.

Proficient with Linux & Windows environments.

Experience using troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, Paessler, PingPlotter or Nagios

Experience wit system integration and troubleshooting

Bachelor's Degree

Security+

Secret Clearance
