Initiate bids, evaluate, recap bids for equipment purchase; work with Purchasing to write and place orders.Work with OEMs, suppliers, Product, and Plant engineering teams to resolve engineering and program delivery issues.Interface and coordinate project related items such as facilities, safety, ergonomics, material handling & kitting, tooling, and gauging.Support discrete event simulation for constraint analysis; work with Industrial Engineers (IE) to assess and improve throughput.Travel up to 100% to SE Michigan and Ohio Manufacturing Plants during equipment installation and launch.Compensation:$35/hr to $40/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
