Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Industrial IoT Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced IoT solutions for digitalization of manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integrating with IOT, PLC and SCADA systems, and good understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and deep understanding of Cloud architecture.

This role requires a hands-on approach to developing and integrating IoT solutions that enhance operational efficiency, quality control, and overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Develop and implement scalable IoT architectures for manufacturing environments, ensuring alignment with ISA-95 architecture principles.
Integration: Lead the integration of manufacturing shop floor systems, including PLCs and SCADA, into Edge and Cloud Platforms to enable real-time monitoring and data collection.
Industry 4.0 Implementation: Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 concepts, leveraging smart sensors, connectivity, and data analytics to optimize manufacturing processes.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement through methodologies such as Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
Hands-On Development: Actively participate in the development and deployment of IoT applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and guide teams in best practices for IoT architecture and integration.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful implementation of IoT initiatives.



Compensation:
$65/hr to $80/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science
10+ years of experience in industrial automation, IoT, ISA-95 architecture concepts, data integration with Edge and Cloud Platforms.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, manufacturing processes and environments.
Proficient in IOT, PLC and SCADA integration, AWS Greengrass with hands-on experience in programming and troubleshooting.
Ability to lead team and work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders
Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
