Job Description

Extensive exp of Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP), Financial implementation, and upgrade experience with at least two implementation cycles for GL Financials

Good Understanding of Account Payable and Account Receivables data flows to GL Modules

Strong Understanding of GL Accounting, FA, I/C and Tax accounting

Completion of one full implementation with Oracle Cloud Financials implementation as a Functional Lead or Project Lead

Excellent knowledge of best practices and an understanding of industry trends and difficulties in Implementing Oracle Fusion Application and supporting the transformation.

Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team.

Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, integrated software solutions within time and budget constraints.

Leads and analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customers objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.

Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations.

Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.

Experience in Solution Design; Preparing specification documentation; Designing process workflow; Identifying and resolving Gaps; Providing functional inputs for specifications, business process, and Post implementation Support.

Proficient in the concepts of Multi-Org, Global Consolidation System, Multiple Reporting Currencies and Flex field setups.

Strong knowledge in GL balances conversion using translation and revaluation process for final balances in reporting currency.

Expertise in reconciliation of Sub-ledger modules with module.

System administration skills include defining request groups, responsibilities, users, assigning responsibilities to user setup of profile options and maintaining concurrent programs.

Experienced in Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Accounting Setup Manager, Multi Org Access Control (MOAC).

Exemplary written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency in building and giving presentations to business partners.

Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills, including ability to function proactively by anticipating priorities and requirements of team stakeholders.

Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations; must be extremely flexible and have a strong aptitude to manage competing priorities and ensure critical follow-up of initiatives.

Proficient in the use of desktop tools and software for presentations, consolidation of data and process mapping, e.g., MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.

Ability to lead a team within the Record to Report area and support both functional and technical areas.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of experience relevant to this position including 7 years of functional consulting experience and 7 Years of Technical consulting experience.

Business process experience in the following areas: Cloud/e-Business Suite (EBS): 15+ years/solid across General Ledger, Intercompany, Projects, Fixed Assets and FAH. In addition to the Tax engine, Cash in and Cash out.

Ability to build customized Oracle Reports in OTBI & BI Publisher reports and templates. Good knowledge of SQL and script writing.

Rich functional, technical and industry knowledge to diagnose complex issues and develop appropriate recommendations.

Excellent knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs, Java, XML, PL/SQL, Web Services, and a good understanding of Oracle DBA support and OS Support relevant to the Oracle Cloud environment.

Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and fusion applications, with a deep understanding of data and application integrations, API lifecycle management, configuring adapters, and data mapping.

Minimum 5 implementations of Oracle R2R and 7 years of support experience in modules like GL, FA, FAH, Project Accounting and Intercompany. Minimum 5 modules from the above are mandatory. In addition, configuration experience is these modules is compulsory.

Qualified with enterprise architecture thinking, and advisory & consulting mindset.

Strong managerial skills in order to lead and facilitate areas of the Records to record team both functionally and technically.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background in working across several different sectors both business and IT related projects/programs.
Knowledge of technology estates and technologies desirable
