The role provides consultation for senior management on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging infrastructure technologies, translating user requirements to process and data requirements and developing solutions for the business with far-reaching impact. The Senior Consultant, Data Engineering Analysis & Design provides technical leadership to develop precise steps and processing logic across all platforms (Azure Databricks, Data Factory etc), ensuring the designed specifications achieve business needs. In addition, the role provides comprehensive senior level technical consulting to other IT senior management and senior technical teams. The role makes technology selection decisions that are often made in situations where business requirements are not completely defined. At times, high level solution needs to be determined based on business requirement which is defined only at high level, and/or would be evolving in phases. **Lead experience is not required, a strong Engineer who wants to pursue Design, Architecture or Lead experience would be well suited for this role as you will train with a Lead and ramp you up over 6-12months. The above responsibilities are where we intend this role will be after ramp up, but strong development skills coupled with a strong understanding of data and Azure will make you a good fit to start this position. They intend for it to go full time after so preference is for candidates who are open to that after the contract.
