The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction related to a cooling tower replacement project at a combined cycle powerplant in North Georgia. Responsibilities include:
Lead Construction Management for Assigned Projects
Interface between client Project Manager and Plant Personnel with all project field activities
Safety Leader/champion for assigned projects
Interface between contractors and owners engineer
Project development functions

Ideally 10 years of experience managing construction of industrial facilities (not looking for candidates from a residential construction background)
Understanding of MS office applications (Excel, Word, Teams)
Physical capability to climb stairs
Familiarity with combined cycle or power generation facilities
Familiarity with related industrial equipment (boilers, chillers, etc.)
Related electrical equipment knowledge (conduit routing, wiring, controls)
Welding experience
Penetrant testing (PT)
Heat trace
high energy piping replacement
