Main Job Functions:Environmental Review, Permitting, Notifications and Compliance:Conduct environmental reviews, obtain discretionary permits and clearances required for the construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities on private, Federal, and State lands. The Senior Director of Tax serves as the Company?s lead tax expert and advisor overseeing income tax, sales and use tax and escheatment functions including emerging issues, research, compliance and... As a private equity portfolio company, the Senior Director of Tax will need to manage the tax function and the necessary internal processes/controls, assist with Company initiatives, and implement the Company?s tax strategies. He or she will maintain GAAP accounting / SOX compliance and is responsible for the proper financial statement presentation. The Senior Director of Tax will need to work closely with internal business partners, owners and must work effectively with external tax partners. The position requires excellent technical skills in both tax and accounting.
