An employer is looking for a Sr. Financial Business Analyst in the Southern California region. This group within our utility client is primarily focused on reduction of emissions from now until 2030.... As a Sr. Financial BA, you will be the primary liaison between the client's financial department, CPUC, and different stakeholders on projects. You will be the go-to person for all things related to finance/accounting. Including but not limited to: department's finances, how the projects are being tracker, where to find certain financial information, journal entries and accruals. You will also help respond to data requests and inquiries from the CPUC. This is not a traditional Financial Analyst or Accounting role so we are hoping to find someone that shows the ability to handle the technical side of things when necessary but would also be able to spend more than half of their time in meetings giving advice and direction to our team as well as other groups.
