What you?ll be able to do:?Lead the integration efforts for various electrical passive safety components, such as the restraints control module, pressure sensors, cut-loops, etc.?Instrument crash test vehicles and conduct experiments to prove crashworthiness of the platform; analyze results and submit thorough reports.?Participate in crash safety, functional safety and failure avoidance analysis of complex electrical and software vehicle subsystems (HARA, FMEAs, etc.).?Develop the passive safety architecture and related vehicle features; work with the hardware, software, architecture, safety and other cross-functional teams to deliver said features.?Work with the design and development engineers throughout the engineering organization to ensure passive safety components have appropriate packaging, requirements and interface definition to achieve their specific vehicle functions.?Develop detailed electrical device transmittals for various passive safety components and own the document until production.?Design test-cases and verification of system level functions on multiple mediums (benches, lab cars and vehicles) and provide objective based directions to the vehicle safety, simulation, design and test teams.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
