As a Dental Hygienist you will clean teeth and examine patient oral areas, head and neck for signs of oral disease. You will also record and review patient medical histories. Additional... More responsibilities and requirements of the Dental Hygienist include:?Evaluates overall oral health, examining oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sores, recessed & bleeding gums, and oral lesions?Documents dental history or chief complaint; records and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to dental staff.?Following through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the Dentist. Procedures may include: Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, Application of Protective Sealants, OraCare, and Perio Chip?Prefer local anesthesia certified.Compensation: $40-48/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
