Their day to day will consist of providing engineering support and new development of satellite and space systems, advanced sensors, high energy lasers, photonics devices, motors and drives, defense products, and a variety of other technologies. They will be reporting into the Space Electrical Design Team Manager and working alongside a team of 12-13 in concept development and product design, integration, and test satellite electrical systems with an emphasis on Circuit and Component Radiation Assurance for all product lines and technology areas. This person will be well versed in space systems and satellites and have expertise as an electronic component engineer. They will contribute in developing and evolving EEE component testing, screening, and qualification. They also will help with mitigating the cost, performance, and scheduling risks by guiding EEE component selection for satellite avionics designs. This will be a onsite role with one day working remote.
