This includes photolithography, epitaxy, dry etch, wet etch, and thin-film deposition for indium phosphide laser and detector device manufacturing. You will be responsible for equipment used to develop advanced processes in our wafer fabrication facility. You will team up with Technology Development, Process Engineering and Production Operations teams to achieve this objective. You will be responsible for establishing robust equipment and processes through rigorous characterization and statistical validation before ramping them into high-volume manufacturing. This person will be both on the technical troubleshooting and process side. This is a permanent position, 5 days a week onsite in Breinigsville, PA. Compensation range is from $90,000-$140,000. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership in identifying, evaluating, installing, improving, and maintaining equipment.Select, accept, and start up new equipment; optimize hardware and software; confer with equipment vendors and manufacturing engineers in-house.Upgrade existing equipment and provide qualification support.Develop and implement preventative, predictive, and high-precision maintenance procedures.
