Insight Global is looking for Mechanical Design Engineers to join their Turbine Module Design Liaison Engineering team. This can be a remote role, but the client is also interested in candidates... local to Greenville, SC who would be willing to come onsite. The daily responsibilities include changing tolerances within drawings to reduce defects for gas turbine parts, and dispositioning any nonconformances. The engineer will be the point person between vendors, customers, and internal team members to manage the manufacturing quality of different products. The engineer will need to pay close attention to detail to address nonconformances such as: component variations, assembly issues, reliability, and bill of materials. The engineer must have experience in an engineering role that focuses on manufacturing deviations and nonconformances, and exposure to CAD software such as NX Unigraphics, Solidworks, AutoCAD, or similar software.
