You will spend most of your time with root cause analysis, confirm selection of hardware and analyze failure modules, perform warranty evaluations, and manage cases in the CRM (Microsoft). You may also mentor junior engineers. This is not a traditional in office role - the hours will vary from week to week. Ex. you work in office 50% and when travelling, you may work M-F or Tu-Sat 10-12 hour shifts at different customer plant locations within the US, with a variety of days, nights, and weekends. Training will be implemented on the job, with other engineers for 6 months - 1 year, before being assigned individual cases. Rental car and mileage is paid for.
