Job Description
We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist II to support operational procurement activities for a growing power generation facility. This role is responsible for end-to-end procurement execution, critical spare parts management, inventory strategy, contractor sourcing, service agreement administration, and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a strong supply chain background, experience supporting maintenance and operations teams, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness. Provides end‑to‑end procurement execution and operational support by managing requisition workflows, issuing purchase orders in accordance with procurement policies, coordinating vendor acceptance, delivery, fulfillment, and expediting activities, and communicating order. This person will be split time between working in the office and being on the worksite seeing what inventory is needed.
Compensation: $22/hr - $24/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
• 3-5 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or category management experience.
• Experience sourcing both materials and service-based vendors.
• Strong contract negotiation and vendor management background.
• Knowledge of procurement systems, purchase orders, and inventory management practices.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Legal, Finance, and technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• ERP experience.
Preferred:
• Project Management Experience
