Job Description
One of Insight Global is looking for a VOIP engineer to join their team. This resource will serve as one of the engineers for Microsoft Teams voice, Teams Rooms, and enterprise AV collaboration technologies. The position is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable voice and collaboration solutions, including Teams calling, routing, and conferencing systems. It also leads conference room technology strategy, including room design, equipment standards, and lifecycle management. The role partners with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure reliable, compliant services while supporting troubleshooting, system enhancements, and device management through tools like Microsoft Intune. Candidates must be able to go onsite to Harrisburg, PA 2 days per week.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams administration, including hands-on experience with Teams Voice (calling policies, auto attendants, call queues, routing)
Experience with Direct Routing and/or Operator Connect and enterprise VoIP solutions
Ability to independently identify issues and proactively design/drive solutions without heavy oversight
Strong experience with conference room technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV solutions (Poly, Maxhub, or similar platforms)
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex Teams voice and collaboration issues at a tier 3 level
Experience collaborating with network, security, and infrastructure teams to support voice quality (QoS, firewalls, etc.)
Exposure to endpoint/device management tools such as Microsoft Intune for managing collaboration devices (preferred)
